Abstract

Since the Covid-19 virus attacked Indonesia, precisely in early March 2020, all activities carried out offline seemed to have stopped and had to be done online. Teaching and learning activities on campuses, schools, and even office workers who have to come and be absent in the morning to the office are only carried out at home through the existing system. Every campus needs an online learning platform for the continuity of teaching and learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. In dealing with online teaching and learning activities, STIMIK ESQ organizes an online learning platform called Moodle LMS (Learning Management System). STIMIK ESQ uses two websites during online teaching and learning activities, namely Moodle LMS and AIS. Moodle LMS is used as online class and attendance. AIS is used for academic activities such as recap of grades, recap of attendance, and recap of student activities. Attendance features in Moodle LMS and AIS are still entered manually because the two systems do not have data integration yet. Moodle LMS is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database as well as AIS is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database which allows the two websites to be integrated. The method used by the author to integrate the two websites is the use of the RestFull web service. Integrating attendance from Moodle LMS into AIS to avoid manual attendance input twice. In this study the author can produce a web service REST method in taking attendance data. From these results, this research is still far from perfect, the authors recommend adding coding that can read larger data in a short time and double checker data that has been inputted cannot be re-entered.
